The mineral industry is known for little regulation and long, opaque supply chains. An amethyst from Brazil can pass through many hands – from miner to intermediary to wholesaler – before it reaches us. To transparently check each of these stages? Honestly: almost impossible. It's not just us saying this – it's an industry-wide reality.

What sets us apart from many: We tell you. Instead of writing "100% ethical" on the website and leaving it at that, we actively think about it, ask questions, and continuously improve.

What Fair Trade Minerals Means

We are a member of the Fair Trade Minerals association – an initiative that advocates for greater transparency, fair working conditions, and responsible mining in the mineral industry. This does not mean that every single stone is seamlessly certified. We ask questions, even if it's uncomfortable. We choose suppliers conscientiously, not just based on price. And we don't stop striving to be better.
