Why does the color vary from light pink to dark purple?
Amethyst is a type of quartz whose violet color is caused by iron inclusions and natural irradiation in the earth.
- Quality characteristic: The darker and "juicier" the violet, the more valuable the stone usually is.
- Varieties: There is the delicate lavender amethyst (light/pastel) and the deep, dark Uruguayan amethyst . Both are genuine; it's purely a matter of taste!
Can amethyst be exposed to sunlight?
- The problem: Amethyst is sensitive to UV radiation. If it lies in direct midday sun for months, it can fade and become grey or colorless.
- Tip: You can briefly charge it in the morning sun, but a sunny windowsill is unsuitable as a permanent location for the trailer.
How do I clean and unload the trailer?
Because the pendant is worn directly on the skin (often near the heart or throat chakra), it absorbs a lot of energy.
- Cleaning: Rinse under lukewarm water to remove skin oils and dust.
- Discharging/Charging: Regularly place it in a bowl with hematite tumbled stones to discharge it, and then on a rock crystal cluster (or your new rock crystal plate, available here in the shop!) to refill it with fresh energy.
