This Ametrine tumbled stone from Bolivia carries two worlds within it – the deep violet of Amethyst and the warm gold of Citrine, flowing into each other, without boundaries, without compromise. Each stone shows this transition differently: sometimes fine and cloudy, sometimes clear and contrasting. You hold it up to the light and search for the line between the colors. And you never quite find it – because Ametrine lives exactly there. 💜💛

✨ Only one place in the world – and a legend to match
Ametrine is commercially mined in only one place in the world: the Anahí mine in the Bolivian rainforest. The legend tells that a Spanish conquistador received the mine as a dowry in the 17th century when he married Princess Anahí of the Ayoreo people. When he wanted to take her home, she was killed by her own tribe – and is said to have given him an ametrine as she died, half violet like her grief, half gold like her love. Legend or truth – the colors of the stone tell this story to this day. What science says: The two colors are created by different temperatures and iron content during crystal growth – Amethyst and Citrine in the same crystal, at the same time, under different conditions. Nowhere else in the world does this happen with such quality. 🌍

How do I clean and charge my Ametrine?
Ametrine combines the care properties of Amethyst and Citrine: rinse briefly under lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods – the violet parts can fade. Moonlight is ideal, especially at full moon. Smudging with Palo Santo or sage gently cleanses its energy. On a selenite wand overnight, it charges silently and evenly. 💜💛
Is Ametrine rare – and why do the colors vary so much?
Yes – genuine Ametrine is commercially only from the Anahí mine in Bolivia. No crystal shows the same color gradient: sometimes violet predominates, sometimes gold, sometimes both are evenly distributed. This depends on which part of the crystal the stone was cut from and what temperatures prevailed during growth. Therefore, every tumbled stone is truly unique – and no photo shows exactly your stone. 💜💛
