No – vacuum deposition creates a molecular bond between the platinum and silver atoms and the crystal surface. This is not a lacquer or an applied layer – it does not flake off and cannot be washed away. The shimmer is permanent as long as the stone is not mechanically damaged. Handle with care, avoid contact with sharp objects. 💜
How do I care for my Angel Aura Amethyst?
Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth – no long water baths, no cleaning agents, no ultrasonic cleaners, as these could damage the coating. Energetically, you can best cleanse it with smudging (Palo Santo or Sage) or in moonlight. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods – both for the amethyst's color and the coating. 💜
