- 1️⃣ Place hematite chips in a shallow dish – put crystals and jewelry on top, let them work for about 1 hour. Hematite absorbs negative energies.
- 2️⃣ Place quartz chips in a second dish – place the cleansed pieces on top overnight or for 4–6 hours. Quartz amplifies and charges.
- 3️⃣ Done – your crystals are cleansed, charged, and ready for meditation, energy work, or wearing on the body.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Quartz & Hematite Charging Set
Why do you need both – isn't one enough?
It's a two-stage process – similar to rinsing a glass before refilling it. Hematite takes care of discharging: It's iron-containing and grounding, drawing absorbed foreign energies out of the stone. Rock crystal takes care of charging: It's a neutral energy amplifier and brings the stone's natural vibration back to its full potential. If you only charge without prior cleansing, you're just continually refilling an already full glass. ☯
How exactly do I use the set?
Step 1 – Discharging: Place your crystals or jewelry in a bowl with hematite chips for approximately 3–12 hours (preferably overnight). The stones should directly touch the hematite. Step 2 – Charging: Afterward, place the stones in a second bowl with rock crystal chips and leave them there for several more hours or a whole day. Done – the stones are cleansed and fully charged. ☯
Do I need to clean the chips themselves too?
Yes – even the cleansers occasionally need a break. Rock crystal chips: Rinse briefly under lukewarm running water every few weeks and place in the morning sun. Hematite chips: Caution – no water! Hematite contains iron oxide and can rust. Instead, simply set aside overnight to rest, or energetically clear with incense (sage or Palo Santo). ☯
Can I also mix hematite and rock crystal?
You can – but it's more suitable for interim maintenance charging. The separate method (first hematite, then rock crystal) is considered more thorough and effective, especially if a stone has been used intensively. The mixture is practical for everyday use, while the separation provides deeper cleansing. ☯
How long do the chips last?
Theoretically, forever. Practically, the chips will eventually lose their luster or become dusty due to constant friction – but this hardly affects their energetic effect. As long as they don't break or appear extremely dull, they will continue to work reliably. A set, once purchased, will accompany you for a very long time. ☯
