- 1️⃣ Place hematite chips in a shallow dish – place crystals and jewelry on top, leave for about 1 hour. Hematite absorbs negative energies.
- 2️⃣ Place quartz chips in a second bowl – leave the cleaned pieces on top overnight or for 4–6 hours. Quartz strengthens and recharges.
- 3️⃣ Done – your crystals are cleansed, charged and ready for meditation, energy work or wearing on your body.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Quartz & Hematite Charging Set
Why do you need both – isn't one enough?
It's a two-step process—similar to rinsing a glass before refilling it. Hematite handles the discharging: It's iron-rich and grounding, drawing out any absorbed foreign energies from the stone. Rock crystal handles the recharging: It's a neutral energy amplifier, restoring the stone's natural vibration to its full potential. If you only recharge without first cleansing, simply continue filling the glass. ☯
How exactly do I use the set?
Step 1 – Discharging: Place your crystals or jewelry in a bowl of hematite chips for approximately 3–12 hours (ideally overnight). The stones should be in direct contact with the hematite. Step 2 – Charging: Then place the stones in a second bowl of rock crystal chips and leave them for several more hours or a whole day. Done – the stones are cleansed and fully charged. ☯
Do I need to clean the chips myself?
Yes – even cleaners need a break now and then. Rock crystal chips: Rinse briefly under lukewarm running water every few weeks and place them in the morning sun. Hematite chips: Caution – no water! Hematite contains iron oxide and can rust. Instead, simply leave them to rest overnight, or cleanse them energetically with smudging (sage or palo santo). ☯
Can I mix hematite and rock crystal?
This works – but is more suitable for occasional maintenance charging. The separate method (first hematite, then rock crystal) is considered more thorough and effective, especially if one stone has been used intensively. The mixture is practical for everyday use; the separate method provides deeper cleansing. ☯
How long do the chips last?
Theoretically, they last forever. In practice, the chips eventually lose their shine or become dusty due to constant friction – but this hardly affects their energetic effect. As long as they don't break or appear extremely dull, they continue to work reliably. A set, once purchased, will last you a very long time. ☯
