What is the difference between Chrysoprase and Aquaprase?
Chrysoprase is the umbrella term for chalcedony with nickel inclusions – classically green. Aquaprase is the rare blue variety, which gets its aqua-blue color from a higher water content in the mineral. It is rarer, more delicate, and particularly sought after by collectors.
