What is Golden Healer Quartz and how does it differ from Green Aventurine?
Golden Healer Quartz is a special variety of quartz (SiO₂), whose yellow-golden to orange-brown color is caused by iron oxide inclusions – its Mohs hardness is 7. In stone healing, it is considered one of the most universal energy stones and is often used in Reiki and energy work. Green Aventurine also belongs to the quartz family and gets its characteristic green color from tiny fuchsite (mica) inclusions, which also give it its gentle shimmer. Both stones radiate warmth in completely different ways – the Golden Healer more solar and activating, the Aventurine more calming and heart-opening.
How do I properly care for my gemstone tree?
The stones of both varieties (quartz and aventurine, Mohs hardness 7) can be briefly rinsed under lukewarm, running water – but please do not allow the polyresin base to get wet permanently, as resin can be sensitive to moisture. The best way to charge your tree is overnight in moonlight or by placing it on a selenite plate for a while. Direct, intense sunlight for hours can slightly fade the color of the Golden Healer – a bright, but not directly sunny spot is ideal. Smudging with Palo Santo or white sage is also wonderful for energetic cleansing.
Is the gemstone tree suitable as a Feng Shui object?
Absolutely – gemstone trees have a long tradition in Feng Shui as a symbol of growth, rootedness, and abundance.
