Genuine Angelite has a characteristic, delicate pastel blue color that appears even and slightly milky – without the intense saturation of dyed stones. The surface feels very soft to the touch, almost talc-like. Dyed imitations or blue Howlite often have an overly uniform, bright blue color without natural tonal variations.
