Rock crystal, with a Mohs hardness of 7, is comparatively robust and tolerates brief rinsing with lukewarm water without problems – but make sure not to expose the 925 silver eyelet to moisture permanently, as silver can tarnish. You can wonderfully charge it in moonlight (especially full moon), on a selenite plate, or by smudging with white sage. Direct sunlight for extended periods can cause the play of colors to change slightly in stones with natural rainbows (light refraction due to internal cracks) – however, brief sun exposure does not harm it. Do not use an ultrasonic cleaner, as this could stress the natural internal structures.
