How do I clean my Orange Calcite?
Calcite is more sensitive than many other stones – no long water baths, no acids, and no aggressive cleaning agents. Briefly rinsing under lukewarm water and drying thoroughly immediately is completely sufficient. It's best to dust it with a soft cloth. You can energetically cleanse it wonderfully with smudging (Palo Santo pairs well with its warm energy) or in moonlight. Direct sunlight in moderation is fine for Orange Calcite – it loves warmth. 💛
What is the difference between Orange Calcite and Citrine?
Both are golden-yellow to orange and both activate the solar plexus chakra – but they are mineralogically completely different. Citrine is quartz, hard and transparent, often with a clear golden hue. Orange Calcite is softer, duller, and warmer in color – its orange is more intense, earthier, sunnier.
