Lughnasadh: The Feast of the First Harvest on August 1st
Lughnasadh (pronounced "Loo-na-sa") is one of the four great Celtic high festivals in the annual cycle. It falls exactly between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox – at a threshold where change becomes perceptible before it truly arrives. It is named after Lugh, the Celtic god of light, patron of craftsmen and harvest. In Anglo-Saxon regions, the same festival is known as Lammas, the loaf-mass, where the first bread made from fresh grain was shared.

With Citrine – both natural and heat-treated – and Labradorite, caution is advised: direct midday sun can bleach both over time. Lukewarm running water is sufficient for cleaning; only rinse Labradorite briefly, do not soak.
